Updates
On January 26, 2025, Lori Beth Sanborn was announced as the chairperson of the Call Committee. Based on the suggestion of Canon Allen, our search committee will be comprised of 7 people, 2 of which, Chris Taylor and Alex Russell, come from the Vestry. Lori Beth is working with the vestry to fill the remaining 4 positions from the list of nominees. The final Call Committee will be announced as soon as possible.
Once the committee has been finalized, their work will begin. First steps include several parish wide information gathering meetings that are planned for February.
Interim Search
In December 2024, an interim priest job description was posted on the Diocese of ENC website. As of January 16, 2025, the diocese has not received an application for the interim position. According to our contact in the diocese, interim priests are hard to come by and it is not surprising that we have not had any applications yet, especially with the holidays.
