What We Believe

God loves you. Knowing and believing this is what faith is all about. The Episcopal Church strives to aid people in their knowledge and love of God and in their faith in Jesus Christ. We Episcopalians believe in a loving, liberating, and life-giving God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The love of God was most clearly shown in the Life, Message, Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Much of our faith in God and the Love of Jesus is clearly articulated in the Apostles Creed and the Nicene Creed. By Baptism, we receive the Grace of God’s love and salvation, and grafted into the Life, Death and Resurrection of Jesus. Through the Sacrament of Holy Communion we are nourished in to live our faith in every aspect of our lives.

The Episcopal Church is a church with a legacy of inclusion. As a constituent member of The Anglican Communion, The Episcopal Church joins in the proclaiming of Jesus Christ with our brother and sister anglicans all over the world. St. Andrews Episcopal Church welcomes all people regardless of ethnicity, gender, sexual identity or orientation. St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church believes that no one comes to a church by accident. You are here because God is working in your life.

We believe that God loves you – No exceptions.
