Worship Services Dates and Times

We have three opportunities for worship and holy eucharist throughout the week: Sunday mornings at 8am & 10am and Wednesdays at noon.

Sunday 8am – Rite I

The 1979 Book of Common Prayer provides the services of the Holy Eucharist in both traditional language and contemporary language rites. The traditional language rites are known as Rite 1. The Rite 1 liturgies reflect the language and piety of the Elizabethan era and the first BCP, although the structure of these liturgies also reflects the influence of modern liturgical scholarship. This service is a quieter service than Rite 2 as there is no music during our Rite 1 service.

Sunday 10am – Rite II

Rite 2 liturgies reflect more fully the influence of the liturgical movement and contemporary theology. Rite 2 liturgies tend to reflect greater sensitivity for inclusive language issues. This service includes singing of hymns with organ and hand bell accompaniment. Additionally, the Nursery and Children’s Chapel are offered during this service.

Wednesday at 12 noon – Midweek Holy Eucharist

A weekday service of Holy Eucharist, led by a member of the clergy, is offered every Wednesday at 12 noon.
